Stroll & Storytime

Join us at Alondra Park in Lawndale for a morning stroll through the community before winding down for a special storytime with Chelsea Ozaeta — children's book author, mom, and founder of Tiny Chapters.

Inspired by her own journey through motherhood, Chelsea writes stories that help children and parents navigate big feelings with love and reassurance. Her debut book, Mommy, Are You Mad at Me?, is a beautiful reflection of her passion for nurturing connection, emotional awareness, and the everyday moments between parent and child.

Books will be available for purchase on site.

A $5.00 community fee is applied to this meetup. This fee helps offset event costs and allows us to continue building and sustaining this space for Black moms.
