Mama Reclaimed

Motherhood has a way of reshaping every part of who we are. Mama Reclaimed is an intimate conversation series created to make space for Black mothers to reconnect with themselves through honest storytelling, meaningful dialogue, and shared community.

This month, we're honored to welcome Dr. Tya Mathis-Coleman, Deputy Treasurer for the State of Nevada, educator, community leader, wife, and mother, as she shares her personal journey through motherhood. While many know her for the leadership roles she holds, this evening invites us beyond the titles to hear from the woman behind them. Together, we'll explore the realities of balancing purpose, family, identity, and the ever-evolving journey of becoming.
